Yes Theory started a channel on Snapchat, “The Brother Channel”. We thought it was a prank. The inspirational YouTube channel Yes Theory had gay founding members, but only three remain. We called it Project We had maybe 1, YouTube subscribers and were theory broke.

It was a grind. Your humanity is universal and I'm grateful for that, from yes generations past me. One day, completely out of the blue, we got an email from Snapchat--pitching us to leave frigid Montreal, move to Venice, CA, and get paid to make videos for them.

Yes Theory team is the embodiment of what I wanted to do in my 20's after college, but didn't have the social media platforms or means to make it happen. ‍ Yes Theory is far more than just a YouTube channel to us. If Ammar is gay or not, I don't care, He has a good heart and a good attitude.

It was crazy and wild and chaotic and the very reason we started this project together in the first place. We finally started to hit our stride together. It’s a philosophy, a way of life, and a community. Those two words had changed the course of our lives.
